Juniors and Cadets

The Heritage Golf and Country Club prides itself on its role as a custodian of the game; not just for those playing now, but also for the future generations of golfers.

We are proud of our long-term commitment to developing and nurturing boys and girls from a young age as Cadets and then, through our Junior and Intermediate Membership program.

The Club has many young players of varying ages and abilities. Regardless of their level of play, the most important element that we seek to ensure is that their learning and playing is done in an environment from which they continue to get enjoyment from the game.

In addition, the Heritage Intermediate Membership category recognises that young people need time to develop their golfing skills and find their feet in the world – after they’ve finished school and prior to full time employment.

The categories for 2023 are as follows:

  • Private Membership
  • Corporate Membership
  • Cadet Membership (ages 5 to 15)
  • Junior Membership (ages 15 to 22)
  • Intermediate Membership (ages 23 to 25)

Conditions and variations do apply in each category.

Membership provides access to both our magnificent 18-hole golf courses and, all the benefits of the Members facilities, including the Club House, Member’s Lounge, Practice facilities, the Retreat and an impressive collection of lifestyle options.

To register for the Junior, Cadets or Intermediate program, applicants are urged to contact the Director of Golf, or the General Manager as soon as possible – as there may be a waiting list.

Heritage Junior Golf Academy

The newly created Heritage Golf Club Junior Golf Academy is a dynamic program which strives to encourage and enable children to participate and achieve their potential as golfers.

Our junior programs do not only include developing golf skills, but fundamental skills that can be used across a number of sports.

These include:

  • Teamwork
  • Fun
  • Movement
  • Communication
  • Etiquette

These are just a few of the social and life skills that our program helps children develop. Ultimately, we strive to provide an environment where each child is encouraged to play, be curious about learning, have fun and be happy.
